Netanyahu demands Iran to leave Syria instantly

On Tuesday, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanded Iran to leave Syria instantly, saying that Israel is ready to a full-scale war if necessary.

Netanyahu added in the ceremony of the inauguration of the new Israeli Army Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi in Tall-Aviv addressed Iran saying "I advise you, get out of Syria fast, we will continue our resolute policy with no fear, we won’t stop attacking you."

Netanyahu said that Iran and its terrorist proxies are the central factors that face Israel. Netanyahu added, "If we have to enter a full-scale war, our army and our citizens will take up this challenge, and we will work to ensure the eternity for Israel

On December 20, 2018, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Israel would escalate its fight against Iranian forces in Syria after the withdrawal of United States’ troops from the country. 

  Yisrael Katz, the Israeli minister of intelligence, said that Israel does not rule out expanding its operations to include Lebanon territory to destroy tunnels that the Lebanese Hezbollah militia dug.
