Explosion targets International Coalition forces in Manbij, Aleppo

On Wednesday, an explosion hit the International Coalition forces and fighters of the Manbij Military Council of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the city of Manbij near Aleppo, Northern Syria, killing a person and injuring seven others.
A local activist reported that an unknown bomber blew himself up as International Coalition soldiers and fighters of the Manbij Military Council were in the Qar al-Umaraa restaurant in Manbij, killing an unidentified person and injuring seven others who were transported to a hospital.
Other activists added that among the injured were soldiers of the International Coalition and that a United States helicopter landed in the stadium of the city to evacuate the injured.
Activists circulated photos showing killed and injured fighters and civilians gather around the destruction.
The Manbij Military Council said that the explosion occurred near a patrol of the International Coalition near the restaurant, without adding further details.
Earlier, unknown shooters attacked the court of the Manbij Military Council amidst frequent explosions in the SDF-controlled Manbij, killing civilians and fighters.
