Syrian government arrests four civilians in northern Homs

On Monday, the Syrian government forces arrested four people, including a woman, in the town of Tal Dahab near the city of Homs, Central Syria, after exchanging fire with one of them, who is a former Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighter.
Local sources reported that the Syrian government forces arrested two people and the FSA fighter Wael Barhou with his mother and took them to an unknown destination.
The sources added that the FSA fighter exchanged fire with the Syrian government forces for six hours after attempting to arrest him. The sources reported no injuries.
The sources added that al-Barhou is the brother of an FSA battalion commander who was killed in clashes with the Syrian government forces before the latter gained control of northern Homs.
The Syrian government forces continue to arrest young men, former FSA fighters and Syrian government opponents for different reasons.
