Floods kill seven people in al-Raqqa countryside

On Friday night, floods killed seven people in the al-Raqqa countryside, Northeastern Syria.
A source from the Rescue Team of the Initial Response Team in the al-Raqqa, said that floods in the village of al-Akirshi, 17 kilometers southeast of al-Raqqa, killed seven people, including a woman and two children, while three other people disappeared.
The source added that people and municipality workers are still searching for the missing people and are helping people who are stuck in their houses due to the floods.
Earlier on February, a rain storm affected more than 100 tents in the al-Mahmudli camp, west of al-Raqqa.
