Clashes kill and injure pro-Iranian militias members in Aleppo city

On Sunday night, clashes between members of the pro-Iranian Defenders Brigade militia killed five members and injured 12 others in the city of Aleppo, Northern Syria.
A private source reported to SMART that the clashes occurred in the al-Rashidin neighborhood due to disagreements between the members regarding robberies of houses in the Dahiat al-Assad area in the city. The clashes killed five members of the Brigade and injured 12 others, who were transported to the Arab Surgical Hospital.
The source added that reinforcements from the Russian-supported Fifth Legion, arrived in the neighborhood to stop the clashes, which later turned between the Legion’s members and the Brigade’s members.
On Dec. 21, 2019, clashes between Defenders Brigade members and Shabiha militia members from the Berri family killed a member of the Brigade in the city of Aleppo.
Clashes frequently occur in the city of Aleppo between pro-Iranian militia members, Syrian government forces members, Russian military police members, and Fifth Legion members, resulting in killing and injures dozens of them.
