SDF arrests people in Deir al-Zor accused of affiliating with IS

On Friday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested several people in the city of Hajin, 95 kilometers east of the city of Deir al-Zor, Eastern Syria, accusing them of affiliating with the Islamic State.
The SDF are mainly comprised of the Kurdish People's Protection Units in addition to Arab, Turkmen, and Assyrian/Syriac military factions. The SDF is supported by the United States-backed International Coalition against the Islamic State and fought them in al-Raqqa, Deir al-Zor, Aleppo, and al-Hasakah in Northeastern Syria.
A military source from the Asayish forces of the Kurdish Autonomous Administration reported to SMART that SDF members arrested three people after storing their houses and accused them of collaborating with the IS.
The SDF frequently arrest people in its controlled area in Northeastern Syria, accusing them of dealing with the IS, planning and executing explosions in the region.
