Bomb explosion injures six civilians in al-Bab, Aleppo

On Thursday night, an explosive device injured six civilians near the city of al-Bab, 38 kilometers east of Aleppo, Northern Syria.
Activists reported to SMART that unknown persons planted an explosive device that exploded behind the al-Saraya building in al-Bab. The activists added that the explosion injured six civilians, one of them sustained critical injuries.
On Thursday night, local activists reported to SMART that the Civil Defense dismantled a bomb that was planted to explode in the village of al-Qah, northern Idlib, Northern Syria.
On May 5, 2020, an explosive device killed a civilian in al-Bab, which is controlled by the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army of the Syrian Interim Government. On April 29, 2020, a car bomb explosion killed and injured 103 people in the city of Afrin, Northern Aleppo.
Explosions of explosive devices and car bombs, and shootings frequently take place in the Idlib and Aleppo governorates, mostly targeting commanders and fighters of the Free Syrian Army and Islamist battalions, and civilians. The attacks killed and injured dozens of them. The perpetrators of most of the attacks remain unknown.
