Unknown warplane bombs Iranian militias’ bases in Deir al-Zor

On Saturday night, an unknown warplane bombed Iranian militias’ bases in the town of al-Dwair near the city of al-Bukamal, 122 kilometers southeast of Deir al-Zor, Eastern Syria. The warplane bombed other bases in other towns.
On Sunday, a source reported to SMART that an unknown warplane bombed Iranian militias’ bases in al-Dwair. The source added that bombings hit a base of the Iranian Liwa al-Muntadhar militia on the edges of the town of Mahkan, southeastern Deir al-Zor.
Military sources reported to SMART that the bombings hit bases in the village of al-Jalaa, al-Muaizala, and al-Hara in Deir al-Zor.
The sources added that the bombings injured fighters of the Iranian militias. The injured fighters arrived at the al-Quds hospital in al-Bukamal. The sources reported no further details about the number of the injured fighters.
Earlier, unknown warplanes bombed bases suspected to belong to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards that supports the Syrian government in the al-Bukamal area.
Frequent Israeli bombings hit Iranian backed militias’ bases in Syria. On Jan. 15, 2019, Israel demanded Iran to leave Syria. Israel Katz, the Isreli Intelligence and Transportation minister said that Israel is involved in a comprehensive war against Iran and that it will not allow Iranian militias to remain in Syria.
Iranian and Iraqi militias that support the Syrian government are deployed to Deir al-Zor, especially the al-Bukamal area. The militias seized civilians' houses and turned them to headquarters and houses for their fighters and their families. Isareli bombings hit the Iranians’ bases, convoys, and headuqarters.
