Explosive device injures civilian in Jarabulus city, Aleppo

On Saturday night, an explosive device, planted by unknown persons, injured a civilian in the Syrian National Army (SNA)-controlled city of Jarabulus, 106 kilometers northeast of the city of Aleppo, Northern Syria.
Local activists reported to SMART that a device exploded in a vehicle carrying the manager of the Ataa Relief Organization and his brother, injuring the manager, who was transported to the Jarabulus Hospital for treatment.
The activists added that the brother of the manager works as investigator in the military police of the SNA, affiliated with the Syrian Interim Government.
On Apr. 18, 2020, an explosive device that was planted in a vegetable stand in a public market near the al-Saraya square in the city of Afrin, Northern Aleppo, injured several civilians.
On Apr. 29, 2020, a car bomb killed and injured 103 people in Afrin.
Explosions became frequent in northern and eastern Aleppo, resulting in the killing and injuries of dozens of civilians and Free Syrian Army commanders and fighters, amidst accusations against the Islamic State and the Syrian Democratic Forces. The police and local councils took precautionary procedure to prevent casualties due to these explosions.
