Al-Suwayda - SMART
A man was killed and two others were injured due to an unknown dispute in the Syrian government-controlled al-Suwayda governorate, Southern Syria.
On Friday, activists reported to SMART that an unknown dispute killed Nasser Mansour al-Shaarani and injured Mansour Nassar al-Shaarani and Raad Zaid al-Shaarani, as they exchanged fire in the al-Dour village, 17 kilometers northwest of al-Suwayda.
The activists added that the wounded were transferred to the National Hospital in al-Suwayda.
Two women were killed, and three others injured in a crime in the al-Khazanat neighborhood, southern al-Suwayda, Southern Syria.
People of the al-Suwayda governorate complain about a state of security absence and the use of unregulated weapons, as several local armed factions, along with Syrian government forces, are present in the governorate.
Syrian government forces-controlled areas are home to a general state of security absence, extensive use of unregulated weapons, and high crime, robbery, and kidnapping for ransom rates, amidst an absence of the role of Syrian government security forces, while activists accuse the latter of facilitating the work of gangs and criminals.
