Unknown persons assassinate chief of real estate offices in al-Bab city, east of Aleppo

Unknown persons assassinated the chief of real estate offices in the city of al-Bab, 38 kilometers east of Aleppo, Northern Syria.

On Friday, the spokesman for the Syrian National Army (SNA), Major Yousef Hammoud, reported to SMART that unknown persons driving a motorcycle shot Ahmad Taleb on Thursday night, killing him immediately, and then fled.

Hammoud stated that Taled is the chief of real estate offices affiliated with the al-Bab local council of the Syrian Interim Government.

On June 24, 2020, unknown persons assassinated a SNA officer of the Syrian Interim Government in the Azaz area, 43 kilometers north of Aleppo, Northern Syria. On Mar. 31, 2020, unknown persons tried to assassinate a police officer in al-Bab.

Assassinations and explosions take place in areas controlled by Free Syrian Army factions and the Islamist battalions in the Idlib and Aleppo governorates, most of them targeting military commanders and fighters, as well as killing and injuring civilians.
