Clashes with FSA injure Syrian government forces members in southern Idlib

On Sunday, clashes with the National Liberation Front (NLF) of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) injured several Syrian government forces members near the village of al-Jaradah, southern Idlib, Northern Syria.
Captain Naji Mustafa, the NLF spokesman, reported to SMART that NLF fighters targeted a heavy machinegun on the al-Jaradah frontline of the Marrat al-Nu’man area, destroying the machinegun and injuring several Syrian government forces members, without determining the number of injured members or the severity of their injuries.
Mustafa added that the Syrian government forces targeted the village of Fleifel, southern Idlib, with artillery and missile shells from surrounding bases, mentioning that the NLF retaliated to the shelling.
Mustafa also said that Turkish soldiers on frontlines of the southern Idlib countryside is documenting the violations of the Syrian government forces and their allied militias.
On June 8, 2020, Russian aerial bombings on villages and towns of Zawiya Mountain killed two civilians and injured three others. On Apr. 21, 2020, the Response Coordination Group-Syria accused the Syrian government of deliberately violating the ceasefire agreement in the Idlib governorate, in order to prevent displaced people from returning home.
