Explosive device injures civilian in Daraa

On Sunday, an explosive device in a car injured a civilian in the village of al-Taibah, 15 kilometers east of the city of Daraa, Southern Syria.
Sources from the city of Daraa reported to SMART that a device, planted by unknown persons an in the car of the civilian Tarek al-Rai from al-Taibah, exploded and injured him with severe injuries, as he was transported to a hospital.
The sources added that the explosive device targeted al-Rai while he was heading for his work, without knowing the reasons of killing him or the party responsible for the incident.
On Mar. 26, 2020, a landmine explosion killed a child and a man near the Syrian government forces-controlled city of Daraa.
Frequent explosions occur in the Daraa governorate, especially after the Syrian government forces gained control of it following reconciliation agreement with Free Syrian Army factions under a Russian sponsorship. These explosions killed and injured several people, including civilians and was mostly carried out by unknown persons, while the Islamic State claimed responsibility for few of these explosions.
