SDF launches arrest campaign in al-Husn village, south of al-Hasakah
Al-Hasakah - SMART
On Sunday night, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested four people in the village of al-Husn, south of al-Hasakah, Northeastern Syria, on suspicion of affiliating with the Islamic State (IS).
A source from the SDF reported to SMART that SDF members imposed a curfew on the area and closed all its entrances with the support of International Coalition aircraft, then they stormed the town and arrested the four people.
The source stated that the SDF transferred the detainees to the al-Hasakah city center for investigation.
The SDF and the Kurdish Autonomous Administration's security forces constantly arrest people from Northeastern Syria to enlist them into compulsory recruitment with the Self-Defense Duty or on charges of affiliating and dealing with the IS, or on charges of violating decisions or weapons trade.
