On Wednesday, loyalist artillery forces shelled two cities in the Northern Homs countryside, Central Syria, injuring four civilians, including a woman and a little girl.

Loyalist artillery forces stationed in the engineering battalion base shelled al-Rastan, 20 kilometers, north of Homs. The shelling injured three civilians, whose injuries ranged from medium to major in severity. The Civil Defense transported the injured to the city hospital.

Loyalist artillery forces stationed at the water establishment checkpoint shelled Kafr Laha, 30 kilometers north of Homs, causing minor injuries to a little girl, according to activists.

Loyalist rocket launchers targeted al-Ghanto, 12 kilometers north of Homs, and explosive cylinders hit Ter Ma’la, Homs countryside, causing material damage, according to activists.

On Monday, loyalist forces targeted a civil vehicle with a thermal missile, killing two civilians, while injuring another. The victims were on their way to Talbiseh from al-Houla district, Northern Homs.

Loyalist forces continue to bomb the cities and towns of Northern Homs despite the de-escalation agreement, which was announced by Russia in August 2017, and includes Northern Homs. The Negotiation Committee of the Northern Homs and Southern Hama countrysides met with a representative of Russia to confirm that the de-escalation agreement is still valid.
