The Civil Defense in Rif Dimashq said that 20 raids and 70 Surface-to-surface missiles launched on the residential neighborhoods of Harasta, Eastern Ghouta, over hours.

The Civil Defense reported on their Facebook page that civilians were injured by aerial and missile bombing of Harasta over 12 hours. Government and Russia are have been bombing Eastern Ghouta with different kinds of weapons, killing and wounding civilians.

Over the past weeks, thousands of families were forced to stay in unequipped basements in Harasta, under the military escalation by the government and Russia on the city and Eastern Ghouta in general.

Russia adopted a five-hour daily ceasefire, two days after the U.N. Security Council called the resolution 2401. The resolution includes a 30-day countrywide ceasefire, lifting the siege of Eastern Ghouta, entering humanitarian aid and evacuating the medical cases only, unconditionally.
