On Wednesday, Russian and loyalist airstrikes killed and injured civilians in the cities of Saqba and Hamouria, Eastern Ghouta. However, Civil Defense teams in these areas face difficulties after earlier airstrikes destroyed their headquarters.

The Civil Defense reported on telegram that warplanes and helicopters bombed and shelled the two cities, killing civilians and injuring dozens.

The Civil Defense added that warplanes bombed their headquarters in Hamourriya, destroying the entire headquarters and damaging equipment and vehicles. The Civil Defense noted that they are unable to document the victims of the bombings.

Local activists reported that airstrikes killed four civilians in Saqba. However, bombings on Hamourriya killed six civilians, including media activists at early count.

Earlier today, ten suspected loyalist strikes killed three civilians and injured others in Kafr Batna, Eastern Ghouta.

Bombings on Ghouta come despite the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2401, which demands a 30-day ceasefire in all of Syria, and a Russian-backed truce for five hours a day in the area.
