On Wednesday, an explosive device wounded a military commander of the Sham Corps od the Free Syrian Army (FSA). It exploded near his home in the town of Urm al-Kubra, 15 kilometers west of Aleppo, Northern Syria.

Local activists reported that the explosive device exploded near the home of the Umayya Brigade commander, Ahmed Salibi, in the town. The explosion wounded him lightly. He was transferred to a nearby medical clinic.

No one has claimed responsibility for the explosion. Also, nor has the Corps or the Brigade accused anyone. The investigations continue to find the culprit responsible for the explosion.

On Tuesday night, loyalist forces shelled the village of Huwair al-Ais in the southern countryside of Aleppo, injuring some civilians, according to the Civil Defense in the region. The Civil Defense went to the site of the shelling to rescue the wounded and inspect the damage.

In mid-May, an explosive device injured a member of the Free Police in the town of Urm al-Kubra. On Sunday, an explosion damaged some people, including a civilian and members of the Syrian Liberation Front, near the Syrian Liberation headquarters in the nearby village of Suhara in the western countryside of Aleppo.

Repeated explosions by explosive devices or car bombs take place in the western countryside of Aleppo, killing and wounding civilians and fighters and causing material damage.
