Idlib - SMART

On Wednesday, the Free Syrian Army's Saraya Daraya group took on responsibility for an attack on the Syrian government forces-controlled town of al-Foah, 9 kilometers north of Idlib, Northern Syria.

The Saraya Daraya said that, in cooperation with the brigade 82, they exploded one of the government forces' bases stationed on the outskirts of the town and killed all the members. No further details were given.

The Saraya Daraya group is an independent faction. It was formed in early 2018. It focused its objectives to confront the government forces and their affiliated militias, according to the group's media official Hossam al-Ahmad.

A few days ago, the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and the Saraya Daraya launched an attack in the town of al-Foah in response to the massacre committed by suspected Russian warplanes in the town of Zardana.
