On Wednesday, a motorcycle bomb exploded in the city of al-Bab, 38 kilometers east of Aleppo, Northern Syria, wounding nine civilians.

Local activists told SMART that the motorcycle bomb exploded near a market full of civilians, wounding nine civilians. Civil Defense teams brought the wounded to a nearby hospital.

The activists added that the Free Police cordoned off the location of the explosion and began investigations. However, the party responsible for the explosion is still unknown.

On March 20, a motorcycle bomb exploded near the al-Nasr Mosque in the city of al-Bab, wounding two civilians.

Explosions have become increasingly common in the areas controlled by the opposition factions that were a part of the Euphrates Shield Operation, north and east of Aleppo, killing and injuring civilians and fighters.
