Quneitra - SMART

On Tuesday, hundreds of civilians fled villages in the Quneitra governorate, Southern Syria, due to the loyalist forces' bombings and military operation in the area.

Local sources reported that hundreds of families fled their villages in Quneitra and headed for the towns that signed agreements with Russia in the nearby Daraa governorate and the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights border area.

Media outlets said that the families that headed for the border area near the occupied Golan Heights raised white flags, as Israeli soldiers ordered them to back off.

Hundreds of other families forcibly displaced to Quneitra returned to their homes in the city of Nawa, Daraa, as the Free Syrian Army reached an agreement with Russia in the city.

Earlier on Tuesday, a loyalist airstrike on villages near the administrative border between the Quneitra and Daraa governorates coincided with loyalist forces' advance to the villages, killing more than 13 civilians.
