On Monday, a motorcycle explosion wounded two civilians in the town of Basouta in Afrin, Aleppo, Northern Syria.

Activists said that unknown men placed mine in the motorcycle and parked it near a restaurant in the town. The motorcycle later exploded, wounding two civilians. The injured were transferred to a nearby medical clinic.

Landmine explosions killed and wounded civilians previously in the Afrin area after the Olive Branch factions and the Turkish army gained control of the area. The Syrian Democratic Forces adopted some of the explosions, killing factions fighters and Turkish soldiers.
