Idlib - SMART

On Tuesday, unknown gunmen shot and killed a civilian from the village of al-Rami in Southern Idlib, Northern Syria.

Local activists reported that unknown gunman in a KIA Avante shot a young man from the Abras family and continued driving toward the city of Ariha. The young man was killed instantly.

The activists said that armed members of the Abras family patrolled the village firing their weapons into the air, adding that the Abras family was in a dispute with another family in the village, but did not make any accusations.

In recent months, the Idlib governorate has been home to several kidnappings, assassinations, and explosive devices and car bomb explosions targeting civilians and commanders of the Free Syrian Army, killing dozens.
