Aleppo – SMART

On Friday, a car bomb injured civilians in the village of Tarhin of the Arimah area, 61 kilometers east of Aleppo, Northern Syria.

Activists reported that the vehicle exploded and injured four civilians.

The activists exchanged a voice record of a member of the Ahrar al-Sham Islamist Movement who said that the vehicle exploded behind one of the Ahrar al-Sham headquarter in the village. The member said that the vehicle came from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)-controlled areas. Earlier, the SDF kept the vehicle for three hours. The record did not report if the vehicle owner was civilian.

Over the last weeks, several unknown-sourced car bombs targeted commanders and fighters from the Free Syrian Army and civilians. The explosions killed and injured several people. The SDF claimed responsibility of most of these explosions.
