Aleppo - SMART

On Thursday, a booby-trapped motorcycle exploded in the city of Afrin near Aleppo, Northern Syria, killed and injured seven civilians.

An eyewitness reported that a booby-trapped motorcycle, parked by unknown persons, exploded near a bakery in the Rajo Street in Afrin, killing three civilians and injuring four others, including one in the critical case. Ambulances transported the injured civilians to the city’s hospital.

The explosion occurred after the military police of the Syrian Interim Government announced that it would impose strict security procedure in Northern Aleppo after a series of explosions targeted the area.

One day earlier, several explosions occurred in cities of Northern Aleppo, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

Many explosions targeted the areas controlled by the Free Syrian Army (FSA) factions of the operations of the Olive Branch and the Euphrates Shield in Northern and Eastern Aleppo.
