People’s Protection Units arrest four young men in al-Raqqa on charges of plotting explosions

On Wednesday, the People’s Protection Units (YPG) arrested four young men in a village in Northern al-Raqqa, Northeastern Syria, on charges of plotting previous explosions.

A source from the Asayish security forces reported that the YPG fighters raided a house in the village of Fakhikha in al-Raqqa and arrested four children from the town of Ma’adan. The source added that the YPG accused the young men of plotting previous explosions in al-Raqqa.

On last Wednesday night, a car bomb explosion killed two people and injured two others in al-Raqqa. The explosion followed YPG’ and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)’ tight security measures.

The YPG and SDF arrest civilians on different charges the most prominent of them is affiliation and cooperation with the IS and involvement in security assaults, or even for compulsory recruitment.
