Deir al-Zor - SMART

On Friday, an explosive device planted by unknown persons near a hospital in the town of al-Kashkiya in Deir al-Zor, Eastern Syria, injured three civilians.

A local source reported that the explosive device was planted in front of a hospital in the town of al-Kashkiya, 75 kilometers east of Deir al-Zor. Some civilians, who have some experience, transferred the explosive device to an empty area near the municipal building and exploded it there.

The source added that some people gathered to watch the operation, where the explosion injured three of them slightly.

Explosions of explosive devices and car bombs repeatedly target members and commanders of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in SDF-controlled areas, killing and injuring some civilians.
