Latakia - SMART

On Monday, a rocket shelling hit Syrian government forces' outposts in Northern Latakia, Western Syria, killing a member and injuring four others.

Pro-Syrian government media outlets reported that a rocket missile hit a Syrian government forces' outpost on the Rashou hill in the al-Akrad mountainous area. The outlets added that the missile was launched from the areas controlled by the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and other Islamist battalions. No side has claimed responsibility for the shelling yet.

Days ago, fighters of the Incite the Believers Operations Room formed by Islamist battalions, most prominent of which are the HTS and Islamist Turkistani Party, attacked Syrian government forces' outposts in Northern Latakia, killing and injuring Syrian government forces members.

Earlier, Islamist battalions opposing the Russian-Turkish demilitarization agreement in Northern, Central, and Western Syria, killed 24 members of the Syrian government forces in an attack in Northern Latakia.
