The SDF attempts to expel the IS from its last enclave in Deir al-Zor.

The SDF gained control of Hajin and most of the village of al-Baghouz al-Tahtani and the entire Iraqi borderline. The SDF also emphasized that the United States (US) decision to withdraw its forces from Syria will not affect the SDF’ battles against the IS.
