On Sunday, the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) documented the killing of 91 medical, Civil Defense, and Red Crescent staff in Syria in 2018.  The SNHR also documented 198 assaults on medical facilities.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is a non-governmental and non-partisan organization, founded in June 2011, that monitors the Syrian Civil War. It is committed to all international criteria and declarations. SNHR aims to document human rights violations in Syria and to defend Syrian human rights in front of international forums and bodies.

The SNHR published a report documenting the killing of 53 medical staff, 37 Civil Defense members, and a Red Crescent member in 2018. The report added that the Syrian government forces and loyalist militias killed most of the victims.

The report added that the Syrian government forces and Iranian militias killed 33 staff employees, the Russian forces killed five employees, and unidentified sides killed eight employees. The report said that the International Coalition forces killed four employees, the Islamic State killed two employees, and forces of the Autonomous Administration killed an employee.

The report noted that the Syrian government forces and loyalist militias killed 20 Civil Defense members, the Russian forces killed eight  Civil Defense members, and unidentified sides killed eight other members. The report added that the Autonomous Administration forces killed a Civil Defense member.

The report also documented 105 assaults by the Syrian government forces on humanitarian facilities, 56 assaults by Russian forces, 30 assaults by unidentified sides, and five assaults by the International Coalition forces.

The SNHR published many human rights reports documenting the violations and assaults committed by all military sides in Syria in 2018. The SNHR published a report documenting the killing of 6,964 civilians, and another documenting 7,700 cases of arbitrary arrests.
