Initial Response Team retrieves ten bodies in al-Raqqa

On Thursday, the Initial Response Team (IRT) of the al-Raqqa Civil Council retrieved ten bodies in the city of al-Raqqa, Northeastern Syria.

A source from the IRT said that they retrieved eight bodies, including the body of a child, from the al-Banorama cemetery. The source added that the IRT identified two of the bodies and returned them to their families.

The source said that they retrieved two bodies from beneath the rubble in the Nazlet Shahada neighborhood, noting that one of the bodies belongs to a fighter. The source added that they buried the unidentified bodies in the Tall al-Bay'a cemetery.

On January 7, 2019, the IRT retrieved 11 bodies in al-Raqqa.
