Idlib - SMART

On Saturday, Syrian government forces shelling destroyed houses and a mosque in the town of Jarjanaz in southern Idlib, Northern Syria.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Syrian government forces shelled the town using 20 missiles from rocket launchers stationed in the village of Abu Dali, destroying several houses and a mosque, without casualties.

The eyewitnesses added that the situation in the town is getting worse with the lack of services after the local council stopped its work and most of the residents of the town fled due to repeated shelling.

The Syrian government forces repeatedly shell the governorate of Idlib, killing and injuring civilians. Russia also launches raids sporadically on the governorate, although it’s included in the Russian-Turkish ceasefire agreement in the area.
