Shooting by unknown armed persons injures man in al-Sanamayn city, Daraa

Daraa - SMART

On Monday, unknown armed persons shot a man accused of working with the Syrian government forces, injuring him in the city of al-Sanamayn, 53 kilometers north of Daraa, Southern Syria.

A local source reported to SMART that the armed persons shot Eid al-Rahil next to his house, severely injuring him. Al-Rahil was transported to a hospital in Damascus for treatment.

The source added that activists and locals accused al-Rahil of working with the Syrian government after he frequented criminal and political security buildings.

Assassinations and explosions are common in the Syrian government-controlled governorate of Daraa, amidst low security. The explosions and assassinations killed and injured officials and militants.
