Al-Hasakah - SMART

The International Coalition against the Islamic State sends military reinforcements to its bases in the al-Hasakah governorate, Northeastern Syria.

On Tuesday, local activists reported to SMART that the reinforcements included about 100 trucks loaded with weapons, ammunition and military vehicles. Some of the trucks were covered and their contents remain unknown.

The activists added that last night, they saw the convoy coming from Iraqi Kurdistan via the road between the cities of Amuda and al-Qamishli, adding that usually, the reinforcements are sent to the US base in Tal Baidar near the city of Tal Tamer to be distributed to other bases later.
