Bomb explodes in al-’Adawi area, Damascus

On Thursday, a bomb exploded in a car in the al-Adawi area in Damascus, Southern Syria, without causing injuries.

Syrian government’s media outlets reported that the bomb was planted in a car in the al-’Adawi. The outlets added that the explosion damaged the windows of nearby buildings and vehicles.

The Syrian government forces raised the alarm, surrendered the location of the explosion, and inspected the area and nearby park. No side claimed responsibility for the blast.

Days ago, the Abu ‘Ammara Free Syrian Army company blew up a Syrian government forces’ checkpoint and a security headquarters in Damascus, killing ten officers. Earlier, the Syrian government forces’ officer in charge of the chemical weapons warehouses in the 105th Brigade base of the Syrian government forces’ Republican Guards was killed. The Syrian government was accused of killing the officer.
