Syrian government forces bombings kill and injure civilians in Idlib and Hama

Idlib - Hama - SMART

On Monday, the Syrian government forces shelled two villages in northern Hama and southern Idlib, Central and Northern Syria, killing a child and injuring a woman.

Activists reported that the Syrian government forces stationed at the al-Tarabee’ checkpoint shelled the village of al-Zakat, northern Hama, killing the child.

The Syrian government forces and Russian forces stationed in the cities of Halfaya and Souran and villages of al-Jabeen, Sheikh Hadeed, and Qubaibat al-Huda, shelled the cities of Kafr Zayta, Mourek, al-Latamainah and villages of al-Janabira, al-Shakr, and al-Arba’een. The bombings caused no injuries.

On Saturday, the Russian forces stationed in Souran shelled Kafr Zayta, injuring a civilian.

Activists reported that the Syrian government forces stationed at the Breidij checkpoint, northern Hama, shelled the village of al-Habit, southern Idlib, injuring a woman. The activists added that the Civil Defense transported the woman to a nearby medical clinic.

The Syrian government forces and Russia continue to bomb the Idlib and Hama governorates, killing and injuring civilians despite the Russian-Turkish agreement in the area.
